With a new strategic direction centred around ‘Delivering Optimal Experiences’, Optimal Workshop needed a refreshed visual identity to reflect this shift. As the sole brand/marketing designer, I led the majority of the updated visual direction.
With research becoming more democratised in the industry we wanted our brand to not only show our best in class stature, but to resonate with more people who wanted to engage in research. Our visual identity is built around simple, beautiful shapes that reflect the clarity and cyclical/iterative nature of our product. We paired these illustrative elements that bring moments of enjoyment with warm, authentic photography to hero our users.
As part of my role during this project I created the logo, illustrative system, colour palette, product iconography, and all supporting external content. I oversaw the direction of our photography shoot with Werk Agency, as well as collaborating with Edition Studio to develop our marketing site and product abstractions.
