Co-founders Peter and Andrew approached me to help with the branding and product design of their sports streaming app Cam One. Cam One provides affordable streaming options for grassroots events/tournaments, sports clubs, or even parents capturing their kids games.
With their idea validated through wireframe usability testing, they needed their brand and product to come to life. I ran a lean brand sprint with the team to firm up the direction, messaging, tone of voice, and competitor matrix before designing.
We landed on a vibrant purple colour palette as the foundation, paired with emoji-style designs that also served as the sport options in-app. I created the logo based on the visual of a camera shutter, but a more simplified version that also reflects the product’s ease of use.
I built out the full component library, including all of the scoring and set-up variables for all of the different sports offered.
